Since 2017 I have been volunteering for the organisation Bouworde. Giving back to society and helping those in need are really valuable and important for me. In the summer of 2022 I went on a volunteering trip to Albania to renovate a school in a small mountain village. This time not as a participant but as a group leader with a bunch of 16-year olds. I wanted to give them the same experience as I had when i was 16, which shaped me into who I am today. I made these pictures and an aftermovie as a memory to this amazing journey. My aftermovie won Bouworde's 2022 Movie contest.
